Terms of Service
Last updated 14 June 2026
These Terms ("Terms") govern your use of MyTenderBox (the "Service") at mytenderbox.com. By signing up you agree to be bound by them.
MyTenderBox is operated by Matthew Macleod, a sole trader based in England. Contact: [email protected].
1. The Service
MyTenderBox is an AI-curated digest of public-sector procurement notices. We scan public tender feeds (TED, UK Find a Tender Service, UK Contracts Finder, Public Contracts Scotland) and use AI to score each notice against the business description you provide. Relevant notices are emailed to you on the cadence of your plan.
Important: we curate from public sources but make no guarantee about the completeness or accuracy of any individual notice. Always confirm details against the original tender notice before relying on them for a bidding decision. We are not a substitute for professional bid-writing advice.
2. Account eligibility
You must be at least 18, acting on behalf of a business (sole trader or company), and using the Service in connection with that business's tender pipeline. The Service is not for personal or consumer use.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscription, billing, and trial
- Plans are Solo (£49 / month) or Pro (£99 / month), billed monthly in GBP via Stripe.
- You start with a 30-day free trial. Your card is held on file for 30 days but not charged.
- If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged automatically for the first month and monthly thereafter.
- VAT, where applicable, will be added at the prevailing UK rate at the time of billing.
- You authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the card you provide for all subscription fees as they fall due.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal — there's a link in the footer of every email digest and at mytenderbox.com/manage.
- During the trial — cancel any time before day 30 to avoid being charged. Nothing comes off your card.
- On a paid subscription — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to digests until then. We don't pro-rate refunds for partial months.
- If you need to cancel mid-month for exceptional reasons (e.g. billing error, accidental upgrade), email [email protected] — we'll handle these case-by-case.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the digest contents or any part of the Service without our prior written consent
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our source data wholesale
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or deceive anyone
- Submit content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or breaches the law
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure or other users
6. Your data
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The business description you provide becomes the brief our AI judge uses to score tenders for you — you keep ownership of it; we keep ownership of the Service.
7. Service availability
We aim for the Service to be available, but we don't commit to a specific uptime at this stage. We may suspend the Service briefly for maintenance, upgrades, or to address security issues. We'll give reasonable notice for planned downtime where possible.
Public tender feeds are run by third parties (Stripe, UK Government, EU institutions). If they go down or change their formats, this may temporarily affect the Service. We'll work to restore normal operation as soon as we can.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.
We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, business opportunities, or data, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that can't be excluded by law.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you're in material breach of these Terms or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose us to legal or commercial risk. Where reasonable we'll give you notice and an opportunity to fix the issue first.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms over time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the change is effective constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that can't be resolved amicably is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
